What I handle
01 / Scout
I turn a creative brief into grounded location options, then check the practical details that make or break them: vehicle and crew access, parking, basecamp, unit moves, equipment carry, wind, daylight, nearby services and a credible weather alternative.
02 / Fix
Local suppliers, transport, accommodation, landowner and permit coordination, schedules and crew movements are brought into one field plan. You get one person who sees how each decision affects the rest of the shoot.
03 / Field
Specialist briefs need more than a pin on a map. Glacier, mountain, winter-road, coastal, marine and cold-water work is supported by years of guiding, driving, rescue-minded planning and dive experience in demanding environments.
Production feasibility
Before the crew commits, I look at the whole operating picture—so the creative choice can survive the Icelandic day around it.
Road class, vehicle choice, parking, turnaround space, walking distance and equipment carry.
Daylight, sun direction, wind exposure, tides, seasonal limits, road status and forecast windows.
Basecamp, toilets, power, catering, fuel, accommodation, local suppliers and emergency options.
A second location, revised timings and realistic decisions made before the weather makes them for us.

The person on the ground
I’m Paweł Maczuch—an Iceland-based production coordinator, location scout/fixer and field logistics specialist.
My background runs through glacier guiding, 4×4 and coach driving, scuba instruction, first aid and years of operating in Iceland’s changing conditions. That means I can speak with a producer about the schedule, with a driver about the road and with a crew about what the location demands.
